Dr. Hubert Bak graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland, fulfilling his long-held dream of becoming a veterinary surgeon. Since then, he has gained extensive experience working with both small and large animals, cultivating a strong passion for orthopaedics and minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopy, endosurgery, and arthroscopy.
In 2013, he earned his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, and in 2018, he achieved RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in Small Animal Surgery. Throughout his career, he has worked in a diverse range of veterinary practices across the UK and Europe, amassing a wealth of surgical experience and enhancing his clinical expertise. He has recently launched his own independent referral practice dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care and supporting referring practices.
He is deeply committed to delivering exceptional surgical care, finding fulfilment in performing complex orthopaedic and minimally invasive procedures that can significantly enhance his patients' quality of life. His primary interests include complex fracture repair, joint surgery, arthroscopy, total hip replacement, and spinal injuries. Hubert consistently strives for the best possible outcomes using the least invasive methods, helping animals recover from injuries through advanced surgical techniques.
His philosophy is that everyone should have access to veterinary services, which is why he operates independently and competitively, ensuring affordability for pet owners who love their animals.

Outside of work, he is an active member of a local tennis club and enjoys skiing and mountain biking. He also cherishes time spent with his family, exploring the outdoors, and staying active whenever possible. Walking his spaniel, Roxy, at Cannock Chase is one of his favourite pastimes.
